Because of the generosity of product partners, 100 percent of the proceeds generated from this year’s RDO Caters Taters for Charity will go towards disrupting the poverty cycle – two generations at a time. Every potato enjoyed, every raffle ticket sold, and every Take Out order, everything goes towards helping single mothers create a better future for their kids through education, affordable housing, and excellent early childhood education.

Like in 2021, the Delta Hotels by Marriott Fargo is once again the home of RDO Caters Taters, supplying plenty of space for all the people and potatoes and helping to prepare the luncheon.

As RDO Caters Taters’ longtime and exclusive radio partner, the KFGO team makes sure everyone knows all the event details and gets listeners amped up for the day. Amy Iler and JJ Gordon also join the fun on event day, broadcasting live from the Delta and talking with RDO Leadership and the benefiting charity. KFGO’s support wouldn’t be complete without Amy’s annual Facebook live experience, taking viewers on the inaugural trip through the serving line and creating the first pound-tato of the day!
On Nov. 2, enjoy the event atmosphere created by banners, signs, and easily recognizable volunteers in t-shirts, all created by Sign Badgers.
While potatoes are the centerpiece of the show at RDO Caters Taters, the toppings are tasty accessories designed to meet anyone’s specific tastes. Bacon bits are donated by Hormel Foods, while shredded cheese comes all the way from the west coast, donated by Tillamook. Add the finishing touches to your tater with salsa donated by Sysco in cups and sour cream donated by Cass Clay. Enjoy an added specialty option this year – Zesty Pelican Seasoning.
To wash it down, Pepsi Beverages Company provides a variety of soda choices, while Brenco and Rookies Sports Bar and Grill provide cups for water or coffee, the Take Out to-go containers, and wax paper sleeves for cookies – so that guests enjoy lunch whether dining in or taking out.
