The 22nd annual RDO Caters Taters is one week away. Here’s an official guide to the volunteer-run potato luncheon that puts 100% of the funds back into the community. This year Jeremiah Program Fargo-Moorhead will use the proceeds to disrupt the cycle of poverty – two generations at a time by simultaneously investing in single moms’ personal and professional goals and the education of their children.
Block off 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2 for RDO Caters Taters at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Fargo – or respond Going to our Facebook Event. While you’re there, leave a comment, tag a fellow spud superfan and share the event to spread the word to support Jeremiah Program of Fargo-Moorhead.
Too busy to dine in with us? Then pre-order Take Out now from the website and select your favorite toppings including bacon bits, butter, chili, shredded cheese, sour cream and/or salsa and pick a convenient time to pick it up during the event. Don’t wait, Take Out will close this Friday, Oct. 28 at 3 p.m. Come in for the sit-down pound-tato luncheon and connect with community members, Jeremiah Program team members, and volunteers. Tickets will be available at the door for $10 which includes delicious lunch, drink, and dessert.
Every year, RDO Caters Taters partners with generous supporters to facilitate a raffle, where – you guessed it – 100% of funds raised will benefit the Jeremiah Program. The prizes are amazing, too: gift cards, security cameras, a Samsung Smart TV, and perfect “stay-cation” prize, to name a few: See the full raffle prize list, here. This year raffle tickets can be bought in person before the event and during the event before it, as well as at the event until its conclusion at 1 p.m. Leading up to Nov. 2, raffle tickets are available from RDO or JP of Fargo-Moorhead team members or at the reception desk at the RDO Field Support Office, 225 Broadway North in downtown Fargo.
That’s you! If you participated in this year’s (or previous years’) events, then celebrate the good you’ve done in the community. This year, consider making a difference in single mothers and their children’s lives and help our community to empower future leaders, caregivers and innovators through this lively luncheon focusing on connection through a simple but tasty baked potato. Join us from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Fargo or place your Take Out order now before it closes this Friday at 3 p.m.
