Another Record-Breaking Year at RDO Caters Taters for Charity
The 19th annual RDO Caters Taters for Charity luncheon raised $83,333 for the Great Plains Food Bank. 100% of proceeds will directly support the Great Plains Food Bank’s mission of ending hunger in North Dakota and western Minnesota. “Congratulations to RDO on another hugely successful Caters Taters for Charity event,” Great Plains Food Bank CEO, Steve Sellent said. “The funds raised will have a major impact in making sure that all those in our community and state facing hunger have food on the table this holiday season and beyond. We are grateful for the hard work and dedication of the staff at RDO in helping us solve hunger through this amazing event.” The Great Plains Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization in North Dakota and serves as the state’s only food bank. Each year, the Great Plains Food Bank touches the lives of one in nine individuals who seek emergency food assistance. This year’s event brings the grand total raised by RDO Caters Taters for Charity to more than $670,000. Throughout its 19 years, the event has supported nearly a dozen local charities including Anne Carlsen Center – Fargo, YWCA Cass Clay, and, the most recent benefiting charity of RDO Caters Taters for Charity, CCRI, Inc.
